1-Change of address, title, type and merger transactions

The integrated circuit topography right owner is obliged to notify the Institute of changes of address, title, change of type and merger. In order for these changes to be registered in the Registry and published in the Bulletin, the following documents must be submitted separately for each registration and application registered in the name of the integrated circuit topography right holder.

a) Petition for request,

b) Document showing that the fee specified in the Communiqué has been paid,

c) Change of address, change of title, change of type or merger

shows Trade Registry Gazette,

d) Power of attorney if the request is made by a representative.

 

2-Transfer

The rights arising from the application or registration of an integrated circuit topography may be transferred to another person. In order for the transfer to be registered in the Registry and published in the Bulletin, the following documents must be submitted.

a) Petition for request,

b) Notarised and authenticated transfer deed containing the signatures and declarations of the transferor and transferee and bearing the registration number,

c) Original registration certificate,

d) A document showing that the fee specified in the Communiqué has been paid,

e) Power of attorney if the request is made by a representative.

 

3- Inheritance

In case the rights arising from the application or registration of an integrated circuit topography are inherited, the following documents must be submitted in order for this situation to be registered in the Registry and published in the Bulletin.

a) Petition for request,

b) Court decision,

c) Document showing that the fee specified in the Communiqué has been paid,

d) Power of attorney if the request is made by a representative.

 

4-Licence

The authorisation to use the rights arising from the application or registration of an integrated circuit topography may be subject to a licence agreement to be valid within the whole or part of the national borders. In order for the licence to be registered in the Registry and published in the Bulletin, the following documents must be submitted.

a) Petition for request,

b) Notarised and backed licence agreement indicating the signatures and declarations of the licensee and licensor, registration number, fee and duration,

c) Original registration certificate,

d) A document showing that the fee specified in the Communiqué has been paid,

e) Power of attorney if the request is made by a representative.

 

5- Pledge

The rights arising from the application or registration of an integrated circuit topography may be subject to pledge. In order for the pledge to be registered in the Registry and published in the Bulletin, the following documents must be submitted

a) Petition for request,

b) containing the signatures and declarations of the pledgee and pledgor and bearing the registration number

notarised and backed pledge agreement,

c) Original registration certificate,

d) Document showing that the fee specified in the Communiqué has been paid,

e) Power of attorney if the request is made by a representative.
